Glad everyone was busy w/fireworks, cooking, and going places over the 4th. Nothing new to report here. I stitched a great deal this weekend. However, I was a
clutz and ran into a small ladder. I have tons of bruises to show for that one! UGH!!! Tons of work to do if everyone keeps their appts. But, who knows, it is
still vacation season and most people don't call and cancel their appts. UGH!! Hope everyone has a great day!

I can be a real clutz too, Myrna. Don't feel too bad! Running into it is slightly better than falling off of it.
It's raining!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! They're saying 1-2 inches today. I'm rather glad we have a 2nd floor apartment at the moment. The ground is parched so I'm sure there will be a flash flood warning posted later. We're in between lines at the moment and I really need to take the trash out before the second one comes through. It's just a good steady rain right now. No thunder or lightening as of yet. And the temp has dropped from 76 to 73. Our A/C won't have to work very hard today. It's only cut one twice since I got up this morning. Lori, I'm not sleeping too good right now either. So you're not alone! I ran out of my medicine Saturday because the pharmacy was closed. Picked it up yesterday after church but slept terribly last night. Couldn't get comfortable. I'm glad I don't have to go anywhere today or have any plans. |

Morning everyone! Its a lovely day here today and everyone is at their appointed places! Kira was glad to get back and see her friends and Paige will get to
meet some new friends at her daycare. Left Zoe at drama camp this morning and I'm sure she will have a good time there, its her third year.
Its suppose to start raining tomorrow and rain for 2 or 3 days, which isn't much fun for the kids but its quite dry here as well so we could use some good rain. Myrna hope your not to banged up. I always have bruises on my legs and half the time I have no idea where I got them...I think working with book trolleys doesn't help. Glad you got lots of stitching in over the long weekend. Rachel glad to hear its a bit cooler for you! CerysG

Hey everyone! I get bruised so easily too. At the Toby Keith concert I was sitting kind of sideways in the chair talking to Austin and DH and someone was
trying to get through so I hopped up real quick and caught my thigh under the arm of Austin's chair. Oh man, it was a dark purple for days and days. Last
week I took Austin's stereo away from him and grabbing the thing and trying to pull the cord out of the wall walking backwards left a huge nasty bruise on
my right forearm. I have to laugh when DH goes, "Oh NO! People are going to think I beat you!"
Rachel glad to hear you're getting some rain. Sorry you're not sleeping well either. I slept better last night, but still toss and turn a lot. Hope you can sleep well soon too! Cerys, I bet the girls are having lots of fun! It's the last day of the 4 day weekend for DH and I. The boys are ready to kill each other. I generally don't like having them sit in front of the TV all the time, but I'm about to that point so they're quiet. The oldest was told he couldn't go to his friends' houses unless their parents were home (this was during the school year) and then I found out they weren't ever home when he was there (so he'd been lying to me), so now I told him he has to have a parent call me and he hates that so he doesn't want to go to his friends' houses. I told him it was because I needed to know an adult was there if something should happen. He also plays Grand Theft Auto over there which I don't feel is appropriate for his age since it's supposed to be M for mature. I allow them to play T for Teen games, but the whole propositioning prostitues in the game plus other things is what I don't agree with. I woke up this morning and the hearing in my right ear is dulled. I don't know if there's some sort of buildup in there or what but it's driving me nuts! Well, I'm going to see what I should stitch on next! Lori

Hubby & I got home yesterday from Salt Fork. Then we had to get Duke from the kennel & do our grocery shopping. Hubby is back at work today (no days
off since the 4th was on a Saturday) and the kids are still at SF with Grandpa. Just catching up on some cleaning today.
Myrna: Hope the bruises go away quickly. Rachel: Maybe with the cool down you'll be able to sleep better tonight. Cerys: Hope the girls have fun. Wendy: Have things improved? Hope the dr's can help. Andie: Are you enjoying the extra sleep. So nice of your Mom to come help. Melinda ![]() ![]()

I bruise easily too! There are times when my legs are covered with bruises, and half the time I've no idea where they came from.
Our wedding present from one of my BFF's came today. She lives on Long Island is about 20 minutes from a huge outlet mall that has a Lenox store. That's where she shopped for me! A gorgeous picture frame, and a Lenox Disney piece!!! I collect The Little Mermaid and she got me the one called Moonlight Kiss. It's based on Kiss The Girl, when they're leaning in for the kiss. Even has the frogs on the oars! |

Rachel, that's such a thoughtful present. Please share a picture. I have a fondness for the Little Mermaid, too, as you know. (Mind you, Snow White
rules).
